Everyone involved in the resolution presented in the National Assembly has violated Article 68 of the Constitution: Dr. Babar Awan. According to sources, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has indicated to take legal action against the decision of the 3-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan related to the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Former Law Minister and Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Dr. Babar Awan has written a letter to Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf for legal action against the approval of the resolution and asked for details.
According to the letter written by former Law Minister and PTI leader Babar Awan to Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf from the Chamber, all the details have been sought under the Right to Information Act. According to the text of the letter, a certified copy of the resolution passed by the National Assembly related to the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan should be provided.
According to the text of the letter, it was asked to provide the names of the members of the National Assembly and the details of the constituencies participating in the meeting of the National Assembly, while it has also been demanded that a copy of the Order of the Day be given regarding the resolution. The letter has also asked to give the details of the members of the National Assembly who will give speeches on the occasion of presenting the resolution.
Talking to the media, Dr. Babar Awan said that everyone involved in the resolution presented in the National Assembly has violated Article 68 of the Constitution, he will go to the FIA against all of them.
If the FIA does not do anything, they will go to the Sessions Court, because this move is tantamount to attacking the Supreme Court and violating the Constitution, no one can be allowed to violate the Constitution, nor will they allow anyone to attack the Supreme Court.
