Election Commission of Pakistan has released the latest details of registered voters across the country. According to the statistics released by the Election Commission, the total number of registered voters across the country has reached 12 crore 56 lakh 26 thousand 930. In total, the number of male voters in the country is 6 crore 78 lakh 93 thousand 815 while the number of female voters is now 5 crore 77 lakh 32 thousand 575.
In the voter lists prepared by the Election Commission, the percentage of male voters is 54 percent while that of women is 46 percent. According to the Election Commission, at the provincial level, the number of registered voters in Punjab province is 7 crore 15 lakh 65 thousand 168 while in Sindh province it is 2 crore 63 lakh 96 thousand 53. The total number of voters in Balochistan province is 52 lakh 28 thousand 726.
According to the Election Commission, the total number of voters of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is 2 crore 14 lakh 15 thousand 490, while the total number of registered voters from the federal capital Islamabad is 1 million 20 thousand 953. According to the statistics, 2 crore 31 lakh 21 thousand 392 voters are between 18 to 25 years of age out of the total voters across the country.
The total number of registered voters in the age group of 26 to 35 years has been 3 crore 26 lakh 18 thousand 771 while the number of registered voters in the age group of 36 to 45 years is 2 crore 77 lakh 56 thousand 963. According to the statistics, the number of registered voters between 56 and 65 years of age is 1 crore 18 lakh 99 thousand 9, while the number of registered voters above 66 years of age is 1 crore 21 lakh 9 thousand 122.
