All Supreme Court Judges Received Invitations In Golden Jubilee Ceremony Of Constitution Of Pakistan: Judicial Sources
Justice Qazi Faiz Isa today expressed in the joint session of the Parliament after which a new debate has started that he attended the gold jubilee ceremony of the Constitution of Pakistan as an individual. Justice Qazi Faiz Isa while expressing his opinion in the Parliament session said that we stand with the Constitution of Pakistan, after Allah this book has a shadow on us. On behalf of my organization, I want to say that we are the defenders of the Constitution of Pakistan and the political talk has nothing to do with it.
According to judicial sources, invitations were received by all judges of the Supreme Court in the golden jubilee ceremony of the Constitution of Pakistan, but no judge is representing the Supreme Court.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial was not informed in the golden jubilee ceremony of Constitution of Pakistan by Justice Qazi Faiz Isa. A judge attended the function individually without taking the Supreme Court into confidence.On the other hand, the reporter of the private TV channel Hum News, Hasnat Malik, said that Justice Qazi Faiz Isa had consulted his like-minded fellow judges to participate in the event, Qazi Faiz Isa’s friends had advised him not to go to the event! Fellow judges said that it is not appropriate to go to Parliament in the current environment! Justice Qazi Faiz Isa’s own decision to go to Parliament!
Speaking at the event, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said that on behalf of my institution, I want to say that we are also the defenders of the Constitution of Pakistan, I have nothing to do with any political matters that have happened here. My field is law, you comment or criticize things from the point of view of law. The Prime Minister has declared April 10 as Constitution Day, which is a good thing.
